If it’s a “secret” how do people find out about it?
While we try to keep the project hush hush, we do have to spill the beans every once in a while so it can be a success! We have a very loyal audience who know the rules, but we’d love for your die-hard fans to be in the loop! We will occasionally post to our instagram stories, and would appreciate for you to do the same. Encourage people to grab a copy and play along, but definitely keep your cards close — so no shots of finished products until the store launches! We love work in progress conent, and will always repost anything you share. Just tag @secretcatalog :)
These would be your deadlines for Issue 9. If you’re interested in being part of the catalog, but think these dates won’t work for you, please let us know. We can send our deadlines for the next issue, and see if they would work better for you!
Let us know if you’re in! And we’ll start talking about what amazing thing you’ll be contributing. Once we decide we’ll send along our Purchase Order. We also ask that you fill out our Brand Info Form (mostly so we know where to send your copy of the catalog!)
Ship one of each item to our studio by this date. If your design has variants (size, color, etc.) we will need one of each for product photos.
Customers are able to snag their copy on our site. This is also a great time for you to announce to your audience that you are participating in this issue!
All inventory is due by this date. We will fulfill all orders from our studio, so need every piece in-hand unless otherwise agreed upon. This is also when you will submit your invoice for payment and fill out the Product Info Form!
The Secret Catalog online shop will launch at the specified time, and customers with the password will log in and shop until they drop.
That’s a wrap. If there is any remaining inventory, we will send it back along with payment for any sold items.
In the development phase we'll decide on a style, quantity, and variants for each order. We'll also arrive at a consignment and retail price. Consignment terms are: 60% Brand, 40% The Secret Catalog. We will send each brand a P.O. for the order detailing the quantity, etc. Consignment is paid out 4 week from the launch of the Online Store. We can send payment via Check, PayPal, or Venmo. Please tell us your desired payment method on the Basic Info Form.
Brands cover cost of shipping to Secret Catalog, and we'll cover shipping costs if any remaining inventory needs to be returned once the online store closes. If samples sent are production quality, we will include them with inventory and sell them in the online store. If the sample sent is not production quality, and can’t be sold online, it will be returned with remaining inventory (if any).
Please, please insure all packages and pack them well. If products arrive to the Secret Catalog damaged, costs will be incurred by the brand. If an item (shipped by the Secret Catalog) arrives to a customer damaged, the Secret Catalog will cover damages. Any merchandise returned to the brand after the online store closes, will be the responsibility of the Secret Catalog and any damages will be covered by us. Basically, damage fault lies with the party who ships it.
